A heavy stagger will cause them to drop a knee and takes a little longer to get up. There's 2 of them and some other CC that can be used (a slow, radar jamming, air strikes) A wince stun can kinda stop someone very briefly and interrupt their charged shot they had. TTK is very high compared to EVO.Īfter reading the comments I can see you're referring to the stuns in the game. After getting stunned you can darksouls roll out of the incomming melee knockdown, if u have boost left. Is the stun as bad as evolution in terms of how quick it is to kill once stunned or is the time to kill reltivley high? The stuns here are nowhere as cancer as EVO. It's tough to explain but i recommend watching gameplay videos and actually see how the game works. But it's quite possible and easy to do to deal at least 1/3 damage to an opponent with the most optimised combo. There are few suits that can kill an opponent quickly in a combo. You can also upgrade your damage output with parts. You can modify your HP, and resistances with parts. And resistances like beam/ballistics/melee armor. Then there are defense stats such as overall HP. Then there are the damage types (range or melee damage), each suit has different skews to damage types for example raids are typically have high melee damage but low ranged damage. The game has a rock-paper-scissors mechanic where if you are stronger against a role you deal bonus damage (example Raids are strong against Supports). It seems GBO 2 has a stagger/stun mechanic aped from MSGO.ĭepends. That and the extremely limited # of matches you could play before you had to wait 4+ hours to play another match or shell out RWM. It was one of the turn offs for me on the original GBO. Is the stun as bad as evolution in terms of how quick it is to kill once stunned or is the time to kill reltivley high? From what I remember of GBO one. Is the stun as bad as evolution in terms of how quick it is to kill once stunned or is the time to kill reltivley high? you get I-frames after you get hit on the ground, a lot of damage can be done while you are there but once you start getting up you have them Is the stun as bad as evolution in terms of how quick it is to kill once stunned or is the time to kill reltivley high? Originally posted by HFCalamity:CC as in crowd control? I suppose. Or suits with damage control that increase the number of hits to be stunned by accumulation, but can be instant stunned by bazookas for example. But are still weak to stagger accumulation. There are mobile suits that have skills that negate or reduce stuns/stagger accumulation such as the Raid role suits that have maneuver armor skills which is reducing instant stuns like bazookas during dashing. Ballistic or Beam machine guns generally do not deal instant stun, but have a small stagger accumulation value per bullet. There are Beam rifles that dont stun but deal a percentage of stagger accumulation before dealing a stun, like hitting 3~4 times to stun. Beam rifles either have instant stun that requires a charged attack or requires depleting heat gauge or ammo. Bazookas generally is an instant stun with splash stun. The most basic combo in game is a stun + melee to topple your opponent and then piling extra damage as your opponent gets back up before invincibility frames kick in.Įvery weapon has a stun/stagger accumulation value.
